Q: What do I do when my demo isn't loading upon completion?

A: Try disabling all other browser extensions and clearing your browsing cookies (click Clear browsing data > Advanced > Select Cookies and other site data & Cached images and files). Close all windows and reopen your application. If the error persists, uninstall and reinstall the extension.

Q: Why are some names and texts coming out different or being translated into Portuguese?

A: The tag captures the HTML as it appears on the website. Make sure there are no interfering extensions. Try turning off Google's automatic translation in the top-right corner of your browser or by right-clicking on an empty area of the website.

Q: What do I do if some elements or graphics in my demo are slightly different from the original?

A: Make sure responsiveness is enabled in your demo library by clicking Share (the little airplane) for the demo in question and then Settings, and then check by accessing a public link outside of the editing environment. If the issue persists even after changing the screen size, contact support.

Q: How many demos can I have in development?

A: There's no limit to the number of demos in development. You can constantly record more demos, activating and deactivating them at your leisure, with the only limitation being the number of demos active simultaneously within the package you purchased.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of frames captured?

A: There's no limit to the number of frames captured in a single demo, but we strongly recommend not exceeding 50 clicks, as we've observed poor performance in very long demos. Best practices suggest that the most efficient demos have up to 15 frames.

Q: Is it possible to capture screenshots of mobile applications?

A: The Getdemo extension only captures what's being played in the browser (web application front end), however, some applications can be emulated on the desktop. Once you can open the screens in the browser, you'll be able to capture them.

Q: What to do if apply to all isn't working?

A: The apply-to-all-frames feature uses the platform's intelligence to identify duplicate screens. However, despite being visually identical, some screens, due to the application's construction method, change the code structure. Furthermore, previously modified elements are not identified as identical. If an element isn't obeying the command, test it on other pages where it repeats. If elements overlap, try modifying the exterior. If the problem persists, contact Getdemo support.

Q: Can I put more than one tooltip per screen?

A: Yes, simply select the add tooltip option in the toolbox. Remember that the order of clicks will be the insertion order, with the last click being the one that redirects to the next frame.

Q: Can I stop capturing midway or add new frames to a finished demo?

A: Yes, you can end the capture at any time and add new frames later by selecting the demo in question from the extension's settings icon. Remember to adjust the screens to the appropriate position and insert a click-through tooltip that links to the added screens.

Q: Is it possible to change the colors of page elements with a different visual identity?

A: Yes, simply select the elements or text in question using the toolbar and use the color tool or insert the hexadecimal code to change its color.

Q: What do I do if I made a mistake in any of the changes in my demo?

A: If you make a mistake, simply use the "CTRL + Z" command, click "Undo Changes," or exit the demo without saving to undo your changes and resume editing. Remember to save the demo whenever you make major changes to avoid losing your work!

Q: How do I remove the view lock on mobile devices?

A: To remove the mobile device lock and allow viewing of mobile-friendly demos, simply enable this option in the demo sharing settings. The demo must be set to active to do this.

Q: Is it possible to add an image to my demo?

A: Yes, it is possible to insert an image saved on your device using the insert image option in the toolbox and always position it centered on some pre-existing element of the capture.

Q: How can I collect the leads and engagement data captured by my demo with "Identified Audience" or "Restricted" access level?

A: To export leads and data from your demos, simply access the analytics tab on the main screen, select the demo and the desired period, and click the “Export as CSV” button.
